It’s a Wednesday morning the air is foggy and smells of ocean mist. My entrance is embraced by a warm hug of the gas heater burning brightly. The staff wore bright smiles and were so attentive to my needs I felt like the only customer, yet the place was fully seated. I had a matcha latte with oat milk to get my creative juices flowing and it hit the spot but that’s not even the best part… The Rockstar Bagel!! Succulent chicken grilled to perfection, every bite was mouthwatering and fresh. I had a super productive day at Shift Glengariff got 4hrs of work done which was more than I planned for the day but it was just the perfect setting. My new favourite Shift Bar

The best shift experience till date (have tried 3 others before and they were good too). Just finished a sumptuous breakfast of piping hot Cappuccino, avo hummus on sourdough bread sprinkled with chia and sunflower seeds. I was twice checked on if I needed anything which was refreshing to experience. Service was quick and welcoming, owner was doing the rounds, runners were coming in by the troves after morning runs which added to the buzz. All in all an enjoyable dining experience that I would recommend to anyone visiting the area. This outlet is right next to the robot as you enter the sea point scene.

Best little coffee shop we’ve been to in ages! Great coffee (including decaf for me …ya ya). Amazing food on offer and a great atmosphere to wind down, or sit and get some work done (headphone’s recommended). Pet friendly which is great too! Great management m, very attentive and excellent waiting on tables NB! We had already started eating…the photo’s dont do their food justice! Try their French Toast! VERY generous portion too!

Came here kinda by accident to pick up a drink and some meals for a roadtrip/tour. I didn't expect much but this was actually one of the tastiest breakfast bagels I had paired well with an iced coffee. The ceasar wrap was perfect later on too. Would reccomend on flavor alone :)

Overall it was nice. Went as a group of 5 with a small kid (unfortunately no kids toys available but the gave us some paper and pen to draw). They had the first coffee order a bit mixed up but they sorted it out after and gave a new one for free. The breakfast was in my opinion a bit too basic, the bread overtoasted (hard) and my wife's egg whites watery. The rest (Omelettes and banana bread) were good. Overall good but they could slightly improve, or maybe it just wasn't to my own taste. The coffee was delicious. The inside is a bit dark but on the street side it was nicer to sit.

This coffee shop is a true gem for remote working, catch ups with friends or alone time. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful & the coffee is great! The best food options in my opinion: Salmon Benedict, Omelette 2, The Club bagel, Monte Cristo sandwich. I have a sweet tooth so I often order an iced Honeybadger (coffee drink). We’ve also ordered takeaways (free delivery within 2km I think?) and they were just as tasty! P.S. they’re dog friendly too
